Self-Referral to Maternity Team

All women who are newly pregnant or new to the area, planning to have their care provided by Poole Maternity Unit need to complete an online referral from via the Poole Hospital webpage, using the following link.

Self-referral should take place as soon as possible from 6 weeks pregnant.

Pregnancy and COVID-19

If you're pregnant, you're at higher risk of getting seriously ill from COVID-19. If you get COVID-19 late in your pregnancy, your baby could also be at risk.

It's important to tell your midwife or maternity team if you have symptoms of COVID-19. They can give you support and advice and you can speak to them about any concerns.
